Day 2

I woke up and I couldn't be happier since I know that I will experience another fantastic day. My mother suggested we try the hotel's restaurant for breakfast since she'd been craving Turkish borek, something she always tries to make at home, but never quite gets right. This time we were trying it in a 5-star hotel. We went down to the hotel's restaurant, but the line was so long, so it took time. This was where my dad pointed out as a flaw the hotel could address.   When we finally were first in line, we directly put some a borek slice on the plate. After we were done, we decided to share our comments. My dad had no comments, he found it really good. I shared the same opinion as him, however my mom had one comment and suggested they would fill the burek with a larger amount of meat.     After we ate, my mom and dad decided to go rest in the room, while I went to swim in the hotel. Day 1

As we arrived to the "Istanbul Airport", I had already imagined how much I am going to enjoy Turkey. My dad asked a guide for hotel recommendations, and we ended up at a 5-star hotel called "The St. Regis Istanbul" . After that it was the prayer time, so my dad ordered an uber that can take us to the "Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque" . Despite the number of spectacular mosques, ...

Leaving Lebanon for two days may seem ordinary, but for me and my family, it wasn't. Traveling for the first time in the last 5 years was a bit emotional. My father bought us tickets to at least enjoy summer by experiencing the beauty of Turkey.    The day before our flight, we packed our bags, and it was stressful since we had to decide what to keep and what not to. The next day, specifically when we left the house and got into the car, my mom decided to take us for one last ride before we arrived at the airport. I shut down my iPad and decided to admire the view through the window.    Once we arrived at the airport and got into the plane, the pilot informed us that our flight to Turkey will take 2 hours. With that, our adventure had officially begun.                                 The plane that led us to Turkey.
