Day 1
As we arrived to the "Istanbul Airport", I had already imagined how much I am going to enjoy Turkey. My dad asked a guide for hotel recommendations, and we ended up at a 5-star hotel called "The St. Regis Istanbul". As we arrived at the hotel, my mom told me to take a look on the big pool and the restaurants there while my dad handled the check-in, I took a look on the hotel, and it was wonderful and relaxing.
After settling in, so we go up to the room. In my opinion, entering a hotel room is always refreshing. We quickly put down our bags and took a fast shower because we couldn't wait to explore Turkey. First, we decided to visit the "Istanbul Museum of Modern Art", and the drawings really captured our attentions, and my dad was thrilled he'd brought his camera. After that it was the prayer time, so my dad ordered an uber that can take us to the "Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque". Despite the number of spectacular mosques, I visited in Lebanon, but this specific mosque was breathtaking WOW! I was really surprised by the amount of people that were visiting the mosque.
After we prayed, we called an uber again to come pick us up, and my mom suggested that he takes us to a restaurant called the "Hidden Garden" as it is stated to be one of the best restaurants in Istanbul. My dad accepted my mom's offer, and we went there. We were starving so we directly ordered the appetizing kebab. It was really tasteful. We all loved it. I would recommend every friend of mine to try this restaurant and specifically order Kebab. By 10:00 PM, we decided to return to the hotel, ready for another day of adventure.
